About the project
Memories from the Future is built around a lifelike digital persona made in Unreal Engine 5. The installation puts that persona in a room with the visitor and lets the encounter change what is on screen.
It runs as both an artwork and a research project, asking what a digital identity is once it can hold a conversation and remember being looked at.
The gallery build pairs the real-time MetaHuman with printed material, so the digital persona and its physical residue share the same space.
